The scale is calibrated by the manufacturer at the factory before shipping. You should not have to recalibrate the scale once you receive it.
Please allow at least 30 mins for warmup. If you have a Magnetic Force scale, please allow at least 60 mins for warmup.
Ideal temperatures for scale use is between 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degreesCelsius) – 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius).

Our products are under warranty against factory defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment. Our warranty does not cover misuse or neglect including but not limited to: battery damage, water damage, overloading, or chewed or cut wires. If the product is found to have been misused or damaged by the customer we are not responsible for the cost of returning the scale.
We carry several different parts for our scales such as footing, weigh pans, batteries, indicators, etc. We do not carry replacement load cells and cannot replace any damaged wiring that is hard wired to the main scale base.
We carry a number of “wash down” scales which are water-proof and can get wet. However, the majority of our scales cannot get wet and will not be covered under warranty if water damage is suspected.

Some of our models have an additional power switch on the bottom right-hand side of the scale. Please check to see if your model has one. If this has been checked, please make sure you are using the AC adapter provided with your unit.
