What information do we collect?

How do we protect visitor information?

Do we use “cookies”?
Yes. How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “My Account” section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.
To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Typographical Errors
In the event that a LW Measurements, LLC product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, LW Measurements, LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. LW Measurements, LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, LW Measurements, LLC shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a LW Measurements, LLC or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. However, even if the third party is affiliated with LW Measurements, LLC, LW Measurements, LLC has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of LW Measurements, LLC. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, LW Measurements, LLC seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).
Warranty Policy
Every TREE system and its components are covered by a warranty against factory defects for a duration of two (2) years from the shipment date by LW Measurements. Our warranty ensures that the equipment sold adheres to the current written specifications authorized by the LW Measurements manual.
LW Measurements will, at its discretion, repair or replace such goods returned within the warranty period subject to the following conditions:
· Any New scale returned for warranty must be properly packaged in the original box. If they are not properly packed in the original box, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost. If we determine there is a factory defect, we will provide a replacement and accept responsibility for shipping back to the customer. If we determine that it is not a factory defect, the customer will be responsible for shipping fees incurred.
· LW Measurements will pay for freight both ways within the first 30 days of purchase if technical support is required. (Determined by our certified Technical Support Team) In the event technical support is needed the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us after the 30-day period has expired. Once the product is received, the technical support team will inspect and, as necessary, repair or replace the scale. LW Measurements will ship the product back to the customer at our expense.
· A thorough examination of such equipment must confirm that the non-conformity exists, and was not caused by accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, improper repair, or improper testing. LW Measurements shall be the sole judgement of all alleged non-conformities.
· Equipment must not be modified, altered, or changed by any person other than LW Measurements technical support team.
· Cutting of the cables, load cell cables, wires will void the warranty. Additionally, opening the scale itself will void the warranty.
· Customers are responsible for any travel-related expenses or on-location repair costs, including equipment assembly or disassembly outside of the two year warranty.
While we take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive in pristine condition, instances of damage during transit may occur due to rough handling or mishandling. In such cases, it should not be automatically assumed that the shipment departed from LW Measurements in a damaged state or that the original packing was inadequate. It is the responsibility of the receiver, whether it's the Authorized Reseller or their customer, to make a note of any damaged or missing items when signing the carrier’s delivery receipt. Customers are advised to inspect shipments upon receipt and note any damage to the carrier immediately. Claims for shipping damages should be directed to the carrier in accordance with their policies and procedures. It is also helpful in the claim process to take pictures of the condition of the packaging and damage. When drop-shipping items to your customers, it is imperative that you advise them of their responsibility in accepting shipments from common carriers. Even if the equipment is not expected to be installed or used for a period of time, the shipment must be inspected at time of receipt in order to preserve their rights to make a claim.
At no point will LW Measurements or Authorized Resellers be held liable for incidental or consequential damages arising at the point of use. Both the customer and LW Measurements agree that the liability of LW Measurements is restricted to the repair or replacement of such goods. By accepting this warranty, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
No terms, conditions, understandings, or agreements attempting to alter the terms of this warranty will be legally binding unless documented in writing and signed by a corporate officer of LW Measurements and the customer.
For Customers outside the lower 48 States, including Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and all other countries are responsible for all shipping fees incurred.

Extended Warranty Policy
LW Measurements offers an extended warranty on all Tree products, supplementing the existing manufacturer's warranty.This extended warranty covers manufacturer defects for an additional 1 or 2 years depending on your purchase, beyond the standard warranty period.
Under this extended warranty, LW Measurements guarantees that Tree products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Should any such defects arise during the extended warranty period, LW Measurements will, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected components or systems under the extended warranty terms and conditions.
This extended warranty does not cover damage resulting from user error, misuse, unauthorized modifications, accidents, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.
To activate this extended warranty, the customer must register the product within 2 years of the purchase date. To make a claim under this extended warranty, customers should contact LW Measurements technical support team and provide proof of purchase and serial number. Contact support at 707-542-2185
This extended warranty is in addition to any statutory rights or standard warranties provided by LW Measurements. LW Measurements reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this extended warranty at any time.
Return Policy
LW Measurements honors a return on any of our TREE® Brand products within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must be in original box and packaging in “New” condition. The product must have no visible signs of wear or use.
In the rare event a TREE® product is not in proper working condition or LW Measurements shipped an incorrect product, a replacement product will be sent. The procedure to receive a replacement must go through our RMA process. Our support team will authorize the return and provide an RMA number. Shipping Charges are nonrefundable.
RMA Process:

II. Provide: PO Number, Order Number, Serial Number.
III. Ship using your carrier of choice. Support agent will provide you with an address.
Discounted, Obsolete, Open Box or Refurbished products are not eligible for return.
Any product bought in error by no fault of LW Measurements will be eligible for return within 30 days, however any associated shipping fees will not be paid by LW Measurements.
A restocking fee will apply to any TREE® products that have been approved for return and arrive after the 30-day period. Any returns after 30 days must go through approval processing and a restocking fee will apply. Any product returned in unusable condition or damaged will not be eligible for credit or return.

Please provide the following details:
Order number/Purchase Number, description of the damage, photos clearly showing the damage.
Upon receiving your report, our support team will assess the damage based on the provided information. If the damage is confirmed to be during transit or due to a manufacturing defect, we will issue a return authorization. Upon receiving the damaged goods and verifying the reported damage, we will proceed with either a replacement of the item(s) or issue a refund, based on your preference and product availability.
All reports of damage must be made within the specified timeframe to be eligible for return or refund.
Products returned without prior authorization may not be accepted and could delay the resolution process.
We reserve the right to inspect the returned items before issuing a refund or replacement.
