LWC-HR 1000 ADA Compliant Wheelchair & Bariatric Scale
The Tree LWC-HR 1000 is a heavy-duty, ADA-compliant wheelchair and bariatric scale designed for medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and other care environments. With a 1,000 lb capacity, 0.2 lb readability, and spacious 40″ x 37″ weighing platform, the LWC-HR 1000 provides a comfortable and accessible weighing solution for a wide range of patients, including those using wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
With a dual-purpose configuration, the LWC-HR 1000 can easily transition between bariatric stand-up weighing and wheelchair use. For bariatric and stand-up weighing, the scale can be configured with a 3-point handrail system, providing patients with additional support while entering, standing on, and exiting the scale. For wheelchair use, the cross rails can be removed to create a pass-through configuration, allowing the patient to enter from one ramp and exit from the opposite ramp without having to turn the wheelchair around.
The LWC-HR 1000 is designed to meet updated ADA requirements and features a 2″ ramp edge and 1:10 ramp running slope for improved wheelchair accessibility. Its extra-large platform accommodates standard and motorized wheelchairs as well as many mobility scooters, while the built-in ramps provide convenient access from either side.
For added flexibility, the LWC-HR 1000 can operate using the included AC adapter or 6 AA batteries for portable applications. The simple 5-button keypad keeps operation straightforward. The HOLD function allows the operator to freeze the weight on the display, making it easier to record a patient’s weight after they have stepped off or the wheelchair has been removed from the scale. Selectable auto backlight and auto shut-off functions provide additional convenience, while RS232 connectivity allows for easy data transfer.
